FIGHTING FOR YOUR PROPHETIC DESTINY

FIGHTING FOR YOUR PROPHETIC DESTINY

A young woman named Clara had always been a dreamer. From a tender age, she saw vivid visions—some peaceful, others frightening. On her 16th birthday, a respected prophet declared, “You shall speak to nations, and kings shall favor you.” Inspired, she pursued God's call with zeal. But as she grew older, her life seemed to spiral downward—rejections, delays, near-death experiences. At one point, her mind almost broke. Confused, she asked God, “Why would You speak greatness only to let me suffer?” It took years before she realized that prophecy is not a guarantee—it is a divine seed that requires warfare, cultivation, and faith.

1. Understanding Prophetic Warfare

The Apostle Paul declared in 1 Timothy 1:18 (KJV),

"This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare."

Prophetic warfare is the spiritual battle that surrounds the fulfillment of God's words spoken over your life. Every prophecy is both a promise and a battleground. The enemy seeks to delay, derail, or destroy it—but God has given us weapons to fight.

2. Channels of Prophecy

A. Dreams

God often speaks through dreams. Job 33:14-16 (KJV) says,

"For God speaketh once, yea twice... In a dream, in a vision of the night... then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction."

Dreams are not just fantasies; they are instructions, warnings, and revelations. Joseph's dream (Genesis 37) set the stage for his destiny but also triggered intense hatred.

B. The Spoken Word

A word of prophecy can come through preaching or the voice of the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:21 (KJV) says,

"For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."

C. Character as Prophecy

Sometimes your character preaches louder than a prophet. A child destined for greatness may be identified by his uncommon discipline, kindness, or wisdom. As the adage goes, “The fruit does not fall far from the tree.”

3. Enemies of Prophecy

A. Spiritual Enemies

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) reminds us,

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers..."

Balaam tried to curse Israel, but God intervened. Numbers 23:19-20 (KJV) says,

"God is not a man, that he should lie... he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it."

B. Family Lineage

Genesis 49:1, 3-4 (KJV) records Jacob speaking to his sons about their futures:

"Reuben, thou art my firstborn... unstable as water, thou shalt not excel..."

Some family patterns act as prophetic declarations—both good and evil.

Deuteronomy 33:6 (KJV) shows Moses reversing Jacob’s curse:

"Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few."

Sometimes, parents or family members project envy or limitations onto their children. That’s why it's essential to break negative cycles and declare God’s truth instead.

C. Occultism and Diabolism

In a chilling case, a nine-year-old boy was initiated into the occult and spiritually stole his father's rib, rendering him paralyzed. Evil altars war against destinies. Jesus acknowledged this spiritual tension in Luke 7:32 (KJV):

"They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace... we have piped unto you, and ye have not danced."

The enemy uses mockery and confusion to destabilize you.

4. Fighting for Your Prophecy

A. Unbelief

Unbelief is a silent killer of prophecy. Romans 4:20 (KJV) says of Abraham:

"He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God."

However, in Mark 9:24 (KJV), a father cried,

"Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief."

Even Jesus couldn’t perform miracles in His hometown because of unbelief (Matthew 13:58). When your mind is under attack, faith is your weapon. Hebrews 4:2 (KJV) says,

"But the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it."

What fuels unbelief?

Harsh circumstances

Delay in fulfillment

Mental fatigue from continuous warfare

B. Delay

Delay is not denial, but if not handled properly, it can turn into doubt or defeat. Daniel fasted and prayed for 21 days before receiving his answer. Daniel 10:12 (KJV) says,

"Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day... thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words."

The delay was due to spiritual opposition.

How to deal with delay:

Patience – Hebrews 10:36 (KJV):

"For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."

Service – Serve God while you wait. Galatians 6:9 (KJV):

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap..."

Persistent Prayer – Keep pushing. Even when heaven is silent, knock until it opens.

As the adage goes, “He who waits long by the river will see the corpse of his enemy float by.”

C. Diabolism and Occultic Manipulation

You must not be ignorant of the devil's devices (2 Corinthians 2:11). The enemy is organized and deliberate in trying to delay or destroy your destiny. Some children are spiritually caged, some destinies swapped, and others offered on evil altars.

But your victory is assured. Ezra 6:14 (KJV) states,

"And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah..."

When prophecy is coupled with action, it manifests!

5. Final Admonition: Guard and War for Your Prophecy

Document it – Write down what God said. Habakkuk 2:2 (KJV):

"Write the vision, and make it plain..."

Declare it – Speak life daily. Job 22:28 (KJV):

"Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee..."

War with it – Don’t sit idle. Pray, fast, act, and believe.

As the adage says, “A closed mouth is a closed destiny.”

Conclusion

Clara eventually saw the manifestation of her prophecy. After years of battle—spiritual, emotional, and physical—she began to travel globally, speaking to nations and kings. What changed? She learned to war with her prophecy.

Every prophecy is both a promise and a responsibility. If God has spoken over you, you must rise to fight with faith, patience, purity, and power. For though the vision tarries, it shall speak and not lie.

“Where there is a prophecy, there is a warfare. Where there is a warfare, there is a testimony.”

Let your prophecy not perish. Rise and war for what God has spoken. Victory is certain if you faint not.

Without Jesus we can do nothing.

If you want to give yourself to Jesus,

TAKE THIS PRAYERS

Dear Lord Jesus, I confess I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe You died and rose for me. I turn from sin and invite You into my heart. Be my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Spirit. Help me follow You daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

 Congratulations.
